Lake George Boat Ramp

Lake George Boat Ramp

Our Boat Ramp is open to the public and is centrally located in Diamond Point, between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing.

The boat/trailer must be tagged at the bow eye showing that the boat has been inspected and cleaned of any invasive species. This is the law and strictly enforced by the Lake George Park Commission. If you do not have a tag connecting your bow eye to the trailer with an approved tag, YOU WILL NOT be allowed to launch your boat at our ramp. NO EXCEPTIONS!

There are many inspection/cleaning stations, but the most convenient and easiest access (coming from the south) is the new Adirondack Welcome Center located between exit 17 and 18 northbound on I-87 (Adirondack Northway).

Boat Ramp Fees:

  • $30, each way
  • $60, round trip (in and out)
  • $20/per day for Trailer Parking (space limited)
  • $40/per day for Car and Trailer Parking (space limited)

We only accept CASH for ramp and parking (no credit card or checks).

Because of fluctuating water levels in the lake our ramp will only accommodate boats 25 ft and smaller.

If you have a larger boat we will not be able to help.

Visit our Rentals page if you’d like to rent a boat.
